1. Service-Based Business
Wlixuz is primarily a service-based business providing professional landscape design services. Due to the nature of our business, traditional return policies applicable to physical products do not directly apply to many of our services. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and have established the following policies regarding service satisfaction, plant materials, and project revisions.
2. Landscape Design Services
For our design services, we offer a client satisfaction guarantee:
- Initial concept designs will be revised until client satisfaction is achieved, within reasonable parameters as outlined in the project agreement.
- If you are not satisfied with the initial design concept, we will provide up to two major revision rounds at no additional charge, provided feedback is received within 14 days of delivery.
- Additional revision rounds beyond those included in your package may incur additional fees, which will be clearly communicated before proceeding.
3. Plant Materials
For plant materials supplied and installed by Wlixuz:
- We offer a 90-day limited warranty on most plants, trees, and shrubs, subject to proper care and maintenance as outlined in our care instructions.
- Plants that fail to thrive despite proper care will be replaced one time at no additional cost during the warranty period.
- This warranty does not cover damage due to:
- Improper care or neglect
- Extreme weather conditions or acts of nature
- Pest infestations or diseases not present at installation
- Damage by animals, pets, or third parties
- Annual flowers and certain specialty plants may have different or limited warranty terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase.
4. Hardscape Materials and Features
For hardscape elements such as patios, walls, water features, and other structural elements:
- Manufacturer warranties apply to prefabricated items such as fountains, lighting fixtures, and irrigation components.
- For custom-built features, we provide a 1-year workmanship warranty covering structural issues or installation defects.
- Natural settling, weathering, or minor cracking consistent with industry standards are not considered defects.
- Materials that prove defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
5. Irrigation Systems
For irrigation systems installed by Wlixuz:
- We provide a 1-year warranty on parts and labor for irrigation system components.
- This warranty covers defects in materials and installation but does not cover damage due to:
- Physical damage from lawn equipment, vehicles, or other external forces
- Improper winterization or maintenance
- Modifications by unauthorized personnel
- Normal wear and tear
6. Project Cancellations
For project cancellations:
- Cancellation prior to commencement of physical work:
- Design fees are non-refundable once design work has begun
- 25% of material deposits may be retained for administrative costs and pre-ordered items
- Cancellation during project implementation:
- Payment will be due for all work completed to date
- A 15% cancellation fee on the remaining contract value may be applied
- Special order materials that cannot be returned will be charged in full
7. Client Satisfaction Commitment
While we do not offer traditional "returns" for our services, we are committed to client satisfaction and will work diligently to address any concerns about our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us promptly so we can address your concerns.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding our services or policies:
- We will make every reasonable effort to resolve issues through direct communication.
- Unresolved disputes may be addressed through mediation or arbitration as specified in our service agreements.
